I welcome to my website. I want to share my experience in organising mountain and bicycle trips. I am inviting to read documentaries on our five family expeditions.
Word the "expedition" is here firmly exaggerated. It all started with the trip to Austria in 2003. That was the first time we went with the family on the holiday itself organized abroad. Previously we were only visiting family in Germany and on tours organized by travel agencies. We had some concerns due to poor knowledge of German. It turned out that knowing the average in English and German language at a basic level, you can safely get along in the German-speaking countries. In 2003, seven days in the Alps. The following year, again seven days, then several days cycling tour. It worked, so it was next.

2003 Salzburg Alps
First was a trip to the mountains. In 2003 we went for a week in Salzburg Alps in a small village called Maria Alm. Driving a car met the Hohe Tauern attractions. At the end we went for a hike in the mountains and then we met a wonderful taste of the Alps.

2004 Oetztal Alps
In 2004, we went to the mountains again. We went to the Oetztal Alps to Soelden. Every day, an ascent to a mountain peak, and everyone was over 3,000 m above sea level. It was there, during long hikes, that a new idea emerged - we would take our bikes to the mountains.

2005 - Inn
Trips to the mountains and cycling began. In 2005 we cycled along the Inn River on a cycle route called Innradweg. We traveled over 300 km from the Inn sources through Switzerland and Austria to the German border.
-
2006 - Danube
In 2006, there was only a bicycle. We chose the easiest cycling route in Austria - Donauradweg. We drove over 300 km from Passau to Vienna

2008 - Welsh Alps and Rhône
Year 2008 - another trip to the mountains and cycling. First, a mountain trip in the Zermatt valley, and then we went cycling along the Rhône from Visp to Montreaux on Lake Geneva. On the way there is a cable car to Mount Blanc. Trip of your dreams.

2009 - Aare
Year 2009. Our last expedition ran through the Aare river valley. From the foothills of the Bernese Alps, north to the Jura and back to the Bernese Alps. Cost - one thousand zlotys per person. I thought. that it was cheaper. In addition to text and photos, there are also videos. It was my first time filming while riding a bike.

2010 - Deutsche Alpenstrasse
Year 2010. driving a car along the German Alpine scenic road - Deutsche Alpenstrasse. The route starts in the Bavarian town of Berchtesgaden, located in the Salzburg Alps, very close to Salzburg itself.
I decided to include a significant number of photos in our reports. It was the photos that I missed the most when I searched the Internet and literature, choosing expedition routes. Please see if it is worth going to Austria or Switzerland just to ride a bike. In my opinion, it's worth it and I wanted to share it. This is where real bicycle paths are located - roads specially designated for cyclists or less frequented local roads. You can travel there with your children without worrying about road collisions.
I have attached maps to the description of each route.
The map below shows the area of all our previous trips.
In addition, I tried to write about everything important in terms of organizing the trip - where to go, how to get there, where to stay overnight, what to take with you, what about food, etc.
